Series of free weekly yoga and sound therapy classes on the Moody Amphitheater lawn at Waterloo Greenway, part of the 'Come Move' series.
Castle Hill Fitness is bringing a series of free yoga classes to the Moody Amphitheater lawn at Waterloo Greenway, running every Monday from September 14 through November 2. The sessions go from 6 PM to 7 PM, so they're a good way to wind down a Monday evening outdoors.
These classes are part of Castle Hill's outdoor movement series, Come Move, and they aren't just standard yoga. Each one pairs mindful movement with sound therapy and a musical component, and the style of yoga changes every week, so you get a different practice each time you go. It's built as an immersive yoga-and-sound experience for the neighborhood, and Castle Hill runs the series alongside various community instructors.
There's a little something extra at the end, too: every session closes with a ticket giveaway for an upcoming Moody Amphitheater concert. If you're new to Castle Hill, you'll need to create a profile and put a credit card on file to sign up—it's a software requirement, and you won't be charged. And remember to bring your own mat.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Austin and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
