Country dance band Fingerpistol performs live at the Little Longhorn Saloon, with tequila shots and dance lessons before the show.
Fingerpistol are back at the Little Longhorn Saloon on Tuesday, September 22, for another night of country dancing on Burnet Road. It's part of their regular run there—they play every other Tuesday—and the whole evening is built around dancing, drinking, and country music.
The night starts early, and that's the best way to think about it if you're planning to do more than just listen. Tequila shots and dance lessons kick off at 7 PM, which is a good time to get in if you want to brush up on your steps before the floor fills up. The lessons are open to everyone, so you don't need to be a pro to join in.
Once the lessons wrap, the band takes over from 8 to 11 PM. Fingerpistol is a five-piece fronted by Dan, Mandy, Landis, Sam, and Gerf, and they keep the music going straight through the three-hour set. It's a dance-focused night, so the floor stays the center of attention.
