A country music festival featuring Loteria, JD Clark, Josh T. Pearson, the Point, Silo Road, Armadillo Road and All My Groovy Friends at The White Horse.
Feels So Good Fest takes over The White Horse on Sunday, September 13, with a full day of music running from 2 PM until 1 AM. It's a long haul of a bill, so you can roll in early and stay late, or just catch a few of your favorites throughout the afternoon and evening.
The lineup brings together seven acts: Loteria, JD Clark, Josh T. Pearson, the Point, Silo Road, Armadillo Road, and All My Groovy Friends. With that many names on one stage, the music stretches across the whole day, and the order of play will take you from the early afternoon right into the early hours of Monday morning.
The White Horse is a Lower East honky-tonk that opened on Comal in December 2011, run by Nathan Hill and Denis O'Donnell. The two spent years managing the Hole in the Wall, where they helped launch modern outlaw country acts like Mike & the Moonpies and Leo Rondeau. Sundays have long belonged to Eastside institution Conjunto Los Pinkys, and the bar's low-set stage draws dancers from every generation. It's won several Best of Austin Awards, including Readers Poll - Best New Bar and Best New Club in 2012, and the venue lists live music seven days a week.
