British DJ and producer D.O.D performs live at Freaky Deaky: The Revival, Austin's Halloween festival.
D.O.D plays the Travis County Expo Center on Saturday, October 31, starting at 7 PM. He's one of 66 acts across four rooms at Freaky Deaky: The Revival, the Halloween festival run by Disco Presents. D.O.D is the stage name of British DJ and producer Dan O'Donnell, and he'll be playing on The Reactor, the festival's main stage.
O'Donnell broke through in 2014 via Laidback Luke on Mixmash Records, when the collaboration "Flashing Lights" put him on the map. That was followed by "Zipper," which he credits with kickstarting the Future Jack style he's since become known for. "Taking You Back," with Tommy Trash and Afrojack, led Axwell of Swedish House Mafia to sign him to Axtone Records, where 2017's "Sixes" took off. He plays live using three or four CDJs, a DJM900, and an RMX-1000, alongside his own edits and bootlegs.
His schedule has taken him to Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Ultra Miami, Nameless Festival, Parookaville, Medusa, Balaton Sound, Womb, and London's Ministry of Sound. At his ADE showcase, D.O.D & Friends, he donated all proceeds to the mental health charity Mind.
