The story follows Madeline Ashton, a vainly beautiful actress, and her long-suffering writer friend Helen Sharp. Their world is turned upside down by Viola Van Horn, a mysterious woman with a secret: one sip of her potion restores their youth and beauty, bringing a new era of life and death and a grudge to last eternity. The show's tagline sums it up: "Life's a bitch and then you die. Or not!"
On stage is the original Broadway cast: Megan Hilty, Jennifer Simard, Michelle Williams, Taurean Everett, and Christopher Gattelli, who also handles direction and choreography. The production runs two hours and 30 minutes with one intermission.
