Dave Scher

Dave Scher plays Jupiter Supper Club on Friday, July 24, at 8:30 PM. If you've spent any time in the Austin music scene over the last decade, you've probably crossed paths with him one way or another. He's an Austin-based musician, arranger, and composer who's worked across the metroplex as both a singer-songwriter and a guitar-slinger.

He's got a decent body of work to pull from: two full-length albums and an EP released in September 2022. He's also spent plenty of time as a sideman, playing with Fastball and guitarist Eric Johnson. More recently, the Dave Scher Trio kicked off the fall Music on Main concert series on September 4, 2024, at Prete Main Street Plaza in Round Rock.

The venue is Jupiter Supper Club, located at 718 Congress Avenue in downtown Austin. It's a maximalist luxury spot that runs 18 & Up and 21 & Up nights with table service and a full bar. Scher is the sole name on the bill for this one, so the night is built around his set.

It's a Friday night downtown, and the show starts at 8:30 PM.
