A queer country dance workshop focusing on the two-step, part of the Neon Rainbows: Queer Country initiative, open to all levels.
Cowpoke Movement is hosting a queer two-step workshop at Sagebrush on Saturday, September 19, from 4 PM to 6 PM. It's part of Neon Rainbows: Queer Country, a dance-focused initiative that opens up country dancing to the queer community. The whole session runs for two hours, and it's open to all levels, so you don't need any prior experience to show up.
Over those two hours, the class covers dance floor flow and restraint, with work on both the waltz and the two-step. The focus is on the two-step, and the invitation is simple: come learn how to two-step alongside fellow country queers. It's a good way to get comfortable with the basics in a space where you're among people who get the vibe.
