Local rock bands Cordoba, Selûna, and Monara perform live at Swan Dive.
Cordoba, Selûna, and Monara are playing Swan Dive on Thursday, August 13. It's a three-band bill of local rock, all from right here in Austin, so you're getting three different sets in one night rather than one headliner and a couple of openers. If you've only caught one of them before, this is a good chance to see how they stack up against each other.
Each band brings its own thing to the stage, and with three of them on the bill, the night stretches out across a fair amount of music. You'll get a full set from Cordoba, another from Selûna, and a third from Monara, so it's more of a showcase than a single act. Since they're all local, it's the kind of night where you can hear a few different takes on the same scene in one go.
Swan Dive is on the east side, and the timing is a bit later than your average weekday show. Doors open at 9:30 PM, and the music starts at 10 PM, so it's a late-night one. If you're coming from across town, that gives you plenty of time to get there and grab a drink before the first band kicks off. It's a Thursday, too, so you've still got the rest of the weekend ahead of you.
