Country singer-songwriter Chris Housman performs his new album 'Dodge City' with special guest Lindsay Beaver at The Studio at Inn Cahoots.
Chris Housman brings The Hell Out of Dodge Tour to The Studio at Inn Cahoots on Monday, September 28, with special guest Lindsay Beaver. It's an album-release show presented by Charisma Presents, coming a little over a month after the August 2026 release of his second album, Dodge City. The new record features the lead tracks "Up and Down" and "Another Love Song."
If you're not familiar with him, Housman is an openly gay country artist who blends queer and country sensibilities, and he lives by the mantra "y'all means all." He's built a name for himself as a songwriter who writes for the outcasts of the genre, and the press has taken notice: The Tennessean called him one of Nashville's most authentically soulful singer-songwriters, and Billboard praised him for giving a voice to the people who don't always fit in. His work has drawn attention from NPR Music, Rolling Stone, People, and CBS Sunday Morning.
This isn't his first run. His debut album, Blueneck, has more than 7 million streams, and its title track hit #1 on the iTunes Country chart. 2026 has been a big year for him: he made his Grand Ole Opry debut on June 26 and was nominated for a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist. Dodge City is his sophomore effort, and this Austin date is one of the shows touring it.
