Launch party for the indie TTRPG Candlelight Inquisition with game demos, raffle, developer presentation and first chance to buy the game.
Black Mouth Cur are launching their new tabletop RPG, Candlelight Inquisition, at The Tiny Minotaur Tavern on Wednesday, August 5. It's the first chance to buy the game, and the night is built around letting people actually play it before they take it home.
Candlelight Inquisition is a 'Gothic Noir' indie TTRPG from the Austin-based developers, designed for one game master and one to four players. It trades in investigation and social-political intrigue, with characters wrestling their own internal psyche while facing opposition and uncertainty. The game is built for small groups, however it is also intended for campaigns.
The evening runs from 7 PM to 11:55 PM, with doors opening at 7. Game demos run from 7:30 PM, led by expert GMs who'll walk you through the system and give you a feel for how the game plays. A raffle runs until 10 PM, with proceeds going to local Austin charities. At 10 PM, Black Mouth Cur takes the floor for a launch presentation to talk through the game and the work that went into it.
