Country musician Brandon Rosage performs live at The Little Longhorn Saloon, a classic Austin honky-tonk.
Brandon Rosage plays The Little Longhorn Saloon on Sunday, October 11, from 4 PM to 8 PM. He'll be on guitar and vocals, and the set is backed by steel guitar, drums, and bass.
Rosage is an Austin country musician who grew up in the Pacific Northwest playing roots music and watching Austin City Limits before moving to Texas with his family in 2010. Now 43, he builds his sound from Texas dance hall tunes, mid-century swing, and electric rhythm and blues, played on his Telecaster. The steel guitar, drums, and bass fill out the sound around him, keeping it in the dance hall tradition.
The venue is The Little Longhorn Saloon, over on Burnet Road. It's a classic Austin honky-tonk known for cold beer, live music six nights a week, and its famous Sunday bingo game. The show runs from 4 PM to 8 PM, so it's a late-afternoon slot that puts you right in the middle of the saloon's Sunday routine.
