Horror punk band Blitzkid performs their Modern Hel Tour 2026 at Come and Take It Live, with pre-show support from REBEL FLESH, CHRIS TOAST & THE JERKS and LAST TO KNOW.
Blitzkid are playing Come and Take It Live on Saturday, October 10, as part of their Modern Hel Tour 2026. They're the main draw, and they've brought a full pre-show lineup with them: Rebel Flesh, Chris Toast & The Jerks, and Last To Know. Doors open at 7 PM, so you've got a few openers to work through before the headliner takes the stage.
If you're not familiar with them, Blitzkid came out of Bluefield, West Virginia, and spent years as one of the leading names in horror punk. The band was led by singer and guitarist TB Monstrosity and bassist and singer Argyle Goolsby, and they stayed active from 1997 until 2012, putting out five studio albums along the way. The two brought different motivations to the project: Goolsby credited his late mother for the drive that kept him in music, while Monstrosity worked toward making Blitzkid a huge band.
What started as a duo born from boredom and a desire to make a soundtrack for skating grew into something more. They built their sound around the dark imagery of horror punk, but they used it to wrap metaphors about how the world works, who you are, and where you fit into it. It's that combination—the horror punk surface and the more universal themes underneath—that defined their run.
