Bi-Weekly Laser Tag Competition

Pinballz Lake Creek hosts its Bi-Weekly Laser Tag Competition every other Tuesday, with the next one coming up on October 13. It's a regular thing on their calendar, so if you miss this one, you've only got a couple of weeks to wait before the next round rolls around.

For those who haven't spent much time there, Pinballz Lake Creek is a massive entertainment complex in North Austin, stretching over 100,000 square feet. The laser tag is just one part of it. The place is packed with classic arcade games and new video gameplay, plus a whole floor of pinball machines. Beyond that, they've got go-karts, VR arenas, escape rooms, mini-bowling, bumper cars, a laser maze, and an XD Dark Ride Theatre Adventure. It's the kind of spot where you can roll in for one thing and end up staying for four or five others.

If you're planning to hang out for more than just the competition, there's plenty to eat and drink on-site. Mikki's Tavern and its scratch kitchen handle the food, and the upscale Whiskey Bar is there for when you want something a bit stronger. They also have party rooms that can hold anywhere from 10 to 1,000 people, so it's as much a spot for a big group as it is for a couple of friends.
