Bee Blackwell is back at The 13th Floor on Tuesday, July 28, as part of the Bee Blackwell Tuesday Residency. It's a weekly series that takes over the room every Tuesday in July, and this particular night features Georgia Britt.
If you haven't spent much time there, The 13th Floor is an Austin bar and music venue inspired by the city's psychedelic scene, named in tribute to the 1960s icons the 13th Floor Elevators. Its mission is to preserve local legends and nurture the art and music community that makes the city unique, and the venue prioritizes access for people with disabilities. The residency keeps the room going throughout the month, so if you miss this one, there's usually another Tuesday coming up soon.
Georgia Britt joins the bill for this session, and since the residency runs every Tuesday in July, it's one of several nights Blackwell is holding down the room this month. The venue is located at 711 Red River Street in downtown Austin, and the night is strictly 21+.
