Bebe Stockwell, with guest gabrielle hope

Bebe Stockwell plays ACL Live at 3TEN on Tuesday, September 23, with gabrielle hope opening. It's her first time back in Austin since her ACL Festival debut last year, when she brought her folk-pop melodies and dusky vocals to the festival stage.

Stockwell is a Boston-born singer, songwriter, and performer who writes folk anthems from a Gen-Z perspective. She grew up in the Beacon Hill neighborhood, where she took piano, drum, and guitar lessons and started writing her own songs. She continued writing and recording while at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at New York University, which eventually caught the attention of Grammy Award-winning producer M-Phazes. The two collaborated on the 2022 breakout 'Love Me Back,' a track that's since passed 7 million streams on Spotify.

Since then, she's shared stages with Claire Rosinkranz, Stephen Sanchez, Rachel Chinouriri, and M. Ward, and played the Newport Folk Festival and Boston Calling. In 2024 she signed with Columbia Records and released her debut EP, Driving Backwards, in May 2025. Her sophomore LP, Volume 1, grew out of that debut, so the set should pull from both.
