Be The People Fest takes over Emo's Austin today, Sunday, July 19, for a full day that pairs a music lineup with a fair of local organizations. It's built around the idea of community and impact, so it's as much about the people in the room as the ones on stage.
On the music side, Flatland Cavalry headlines the bill. They're a Texas-based outfit known for a sound that sits right in the middle of country and Americana, with a strong songwriting tradition at its core. They've spent the last few years building a name across the South, and this is one of their Austin dates this summer.
Sharing the stage are Trevor Jackson, Luke Borchelt, and Sadie Rose Van, with DJ Christy Ray keeping things moving between sets.
