Bat City Bombshells bring their burlesque show Wild Thangzzz to Kick Butt Coffee on Saturday, August 15. The night is hosted by Nico De Gallo and features a long roster of performers: Sherry Bomb, Folly Parton, Viridian Moon, Roc Gaude, Violet Sky, Marcia Melons, Jack Potts, Katetastrophe, Hibiscus Bloom, Ms. Gorgeous George, Jess Velour, and Kitty Pink and Splitty Kitty.
If you haven't crossed paths with them before, the Bat City Bombshells have been around since 2009, making them the second-longest running burlesque troupe in Austin. They started as a handful of hobbyist dancers and grew into a full company of performers working on their shimmy, shake, and tassel-twirling. They took home Best Group Routine at the San Antonio Burlesque Festival in 2013 and have since played the Texas, Dallas, and Oklahoma Burlesque Fests. Their shows run the gamut from sexy and scintillating to humorous and daring, which they describe as a tribute to burlesque's roots.
Wild Thangzzz is billed as a fierce, untamed night where the performers' claws come out and the wildest fantasies hit the stage, moving from sultry to unrestrained in a celebration of freedom, glamour, and a little bit of mischief. It's an 18+ show.

Doors open at 7 PM and the show starts at 8 PM at Kick Butt Coffee, 5775 Airport Blvd. There are a few ways to watch: a table for two on the floor is $80, a table for two on the raised platform is $70, seated admission is $30, and standing-only general admission is $25.
