The 25th anniversary of the Austin City Limits Music Festival returns to Zilker Park with nine stages and two weekends of music, featuring headliners like RĂśFUS DU SOL, twenty one pilots, Lorde, Skrillex, Kings of Leon and The xx.
Austin City Limits Music Festival is back at Zilker Park for its 25th anniversary, running across two weekends: October 2-4 and October 9-11, 2026. It's returning to its nine-stage, two-weekend format, with a strong emphasis on homegrown Texas talent. The headliners are Charli XCX, RĂśFĂśS DU SOL, Twenty One Pilots, Lorde, Skrillex for the first weekend, Kings of Leon for the second, and The xx.
Beyond the main stages, the Bonus Tracks stage has become a fixture of the festival. It hosts artist interviews, podcast recordings, cooking demos, drag performances, and line-dance lessons with Bob's Dance Shop. This year, Spotify and ACL Fest are teaming up to give fans a custom 'Festival Persona' that generates a bespoke playlist based on their listening habits.
There's a local side to this that usually gets lost in the lineup announcements. Since 2006, the festival has partnered with the Austin Parks Foundation to put money back into the city's green spaces. Together they've generated more than $79 million for improvements to Zilker Park and other parks across Austin, with 2025 ticket sales alone contributing $8.5 million.
