A punk rock concert headlined by Bikini Kill, featuring Die Spitz and Gibby Haynes, as part of the LEVITATION 2026 festival.
Bikini Kill headline Radio/East on Friday, September 11, as part of LEVITATION 2026. They're sharing the bill with Die Spitz, Gibby Haynes, Sweeping Promises, Melt-Banana and Powerplant. The show starts at 3:30 PM.
It's a long afternoon of music, and the lineup covers a lot of ground. Bikini Kill leads the bill, with Die Spitz and Gibby Haynes—performing as Butthole Surfers Mania—right behind them. Sweeping Promises, Melt-Banana and Powerplant round out the rest of the day. With six acts on one stage, you'll be there for a good while, and the early start means the music will be rolling well into the evening.
Radio/East is the central hub for LEVITATION 2026, which runs from September 10 to 13 across Austin's Red River District and East Side venues. The festival has built its name on lineups that pull from psych, dream pop, punk, indie, metal, darkwave and electronic—the kind of mix that feels like a record collection spread across a four-day weekend. This year, Radio/East is running with an expanded two-stage layout, while late-night and club shows continue across Red River and throughout the city. There's also a secret Sunday headliner that hasn't been announced yet.

If you're planning to make it, keep in mind that this is a festival bill, not a standalone show, so there's plenty more to see across the city throughout the weekend. The Bikini Kill date is Friday, September 11, at Radio/East, 3504 Montopolis Dr, starting at 3:30 PM.
