A one-woman comedy show by Gillian Gurganus, a New York-based comedian known for her high-energy performance style.
Gillian Gurganus brings her solo show, And All That Jazz, to Fallout Theater on Wednesday, August 5. It's a one-woman comedy show that follows a triple threat's journey toward fame and stardom, one awful job at a time. Gurganus is a New York-based host and comedian who has performed with the Upright Citizens Brigade, The PIT, and the Brooklyn Comedy Collective. She made her international debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with this show, where critics called her a "high energy pocket-rocket destined for stardom."
Fallout Theater, at 616 Lavaca St, is known as a destination for alternative improv, sketch, and stand-up in Austin. The venue is BYOB, though you have to be 21 or older to drink. The show itself is recommended for ages 18 and up because of mature content, though under-18s are welcome by parental discretion. It runs from 7 PM to 8 PM, so it's a tight hour on a Wednesday night downtown. Tickets are $8 online plus fees, or $12 at the door.
