Alan Walker

Alan Walker plays ACL Live at the Moody Theater on Thursday, January 21, 2027. It's a single-artist bill, with Walker as the only name on the lineup.

Walker is a Norwegian electronic artist from Bergen who got his start online. He's talked about how he spent his childhood fascinated by programming and graphic design, and how music began to happen spontaneously a few years later after he found a track on YouTube that inspired him to start producing himself. His first connections were with people—or rather, nicknames—from around the world. He's best known for the global hit "Faded" and for a melodic sound and visual style that set him apart from other producers in the scene.

His live shows blend progressive house and electro elements with a strong pop sensibility. The Austin date is a chance to hear his evolving soundscapes and recent releases live, alongside the older tracks that built his following. Since his career began in the digital space, the live setting is where those recordings move into a room with a crowd.

It's a Thursday night show, starting at 7 PM CST at ACL Live at the Moody Theater, 310 W Willie Nelson Blvd, Austin, TX 78701.
