Alan Haynes performs live at The Little Longhorn Saloon, a venue known for its honky-tonk country music scene.
Alan Haynes plays The Little Longhorn Saloon on Friday, July 24, with the set starting at 9 PM. It's a single-bill night, so Haynes is the only act on the program.
If you haven't spent much time there, the Little Longhorn is a bit of an Austin institution. It's been at the center of the city's honky-tonk scene for more than four decades, booking more than ten bands a week and upwards of 600 acts a year. The stage has hosted names like James Hand, Alvin Crow, James Intveld, Weldon Henson, Mike Stinson, The Derailers, Two Hoots and a Holler, Fingerpistol, and Dallas Moore. It's also the original home of Chicken Shit Bingo, a game they've run for more than 50 years that draws thousands of fans every Sunday. Beyond the music, the bar is known for its homemade Micheladas and Bloody Marys.
