A night of 90s and 2000s rock music with Rhinosaur at Speakeasy, free entry but 21+ only.
Rhinosaur is taking over Speakeasy on Friday, August 28, for a night dedicated to 90s and 2000s rock. It's a tribute set that pulls from two decades of guitar music, and the list of bands they're covering is long enough to cover a lot of ground in one night.
The setlist leans heavily on the grunge and alternative sounds that defined the 90s. You'll hear Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice In Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, and Nirvana. Soundgarden, Radiohead, and the Toadies are in there too, so it's not just the biggest names from the era. The 2000s side of things brings in Green Day, The Offspring, Blink 182, and Weezer, and there's a bit of Sublime mixed in as well.
