Western-inspired gala with dinner, live music, auctions and after-party for Ronald McDonald House Central Texas.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas is hosting its 37th Annual Bandana Ball on Friday, September 18, at the Fairmont Austin. It's the organization's signature fundraiser, and the night leans hard into Western flair: a curated three-course dinner paired with complimentary beverages and donated dinner wine from Rhinory, with a live and silent auction running alongside. The live auction is led by cowboy auctioneer Heath Hale and the Cowboy Ringmen.
If you're not familiar with the cause, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas provides free, compassionate, family-centered care to families with children receiving lifesaving medical treatment. The Bandana Ball is the main event that keeps those services going, so the evening is as much about the fundraising as it is about the dinner and the auction. The Western theme carries through the whole thing, from the attire to the way the auction is run.
There are two ways to get involved with the bidding. The live auction happens in the room during the event, while the silent auction and raffle run in the background. You register online in advance to take part in the silent auction and raffle, so you can get your bids in before the night even starts. Between the dinner, the drinks, and the auctions, there's plenty to do across the evening.
