Wine Lips come from Toronto, Canada, and their sound sits at the crossroads of garage punk, psychedelic rock and straight-ahead punk. It's a fair description of what they do: the raw energy of garage punk, the swirling textures of psych, and the directness of punk all in one set. The EARL is at 488 Flat Shoals Ave. NE, and it's a 21+ venue at all times, so bring your ID. The show starts at 7:30 PM, with doors opening at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
