Interactive family concert in which The Rock and Roll Playhouse turns Taylor Swift's biggest songs into singing, dancing and games for children aged one to seven.
The Rock and Roll Playhouse brings a Taylor Swift-themed family concert to Smith's Olde Bar on Saturday, October 17, 2026. It's a midday show, so you can get the kids in and out before nap time or the afternoon rush. The set is built around Swift's biggest songs, but it's not a sit-still performance: they mix the music with singing, dancing, games and hands-on fun, and the band works through stories and movement to keep the little ones engaged. It's designed for children aged one to seven and their families, and it's open to all ages, so it works whether you're bringing a toddler or a whole house full of kids.
There's a bit of history behind the name, too. The Rock and Roll Playhouse was started in 2014 by independent concert promoter Peter Shapiro and educator Amy Striem. Since then, it's grown into the largest national kid-friendly live concert series in the country, playing to hundreds of thousands of children and families across more than 1,000 shows in over 35 live music venues across the United States. The whole idea is to give parents a chance to enjoy the music they love while their kids explore their own creativity through the songs.

On the day, the show is in the upstairs Music Room at Smith's Olde Bar, 1578 Piedmont Avenue Northeast in Atlanta. Doors open at 11:30 AM, and the music starts at 12:00 PM. Since it's a family show, getting there a little early gives you time to settle in before the first song kicks off.
