A live jazz tribute band performs iconic songs by Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong in an intimate venue setting.
The Jazz Room brings a Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong tribute to Wild Heaven Beer on Saturday, November 14, starting at 9 PM. It's a live band paying homage to two of the most influential musicians of the twentieth century, with their most iconic songs reimagined in an intimate setting. You'll hear Sinatra's Fly Me to the Moon and My Way alongside Armstrong's What a Wonderful World and When You're Smiling, among others.
What sets this apart from a standard tribute is the format. The Jazz Room doesn't work from a fixed setlist; each evening is built in real time through voice, horn and rhythm, with elegant phrasing, playful call-and-response and smoky romance. It's a live band doing the work on the night rather than playing through a pre-planned program. The group has performed in more than 40 cities and has drawn 4.7 to 4.8-star reviews.
The venue is The Garden Club at Wild Heaven West End, a 600-capacity craft brewery and music venue in Atlanta's Historic West End. It's an industrial-chic room with a 22' x 14' stage, low lighting and immersive sound. The evening runs about an hour and is for ages 21 and over. Seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis within each zone, so if you have a preference for where you sit, arriving early is your best bet.
