Weekly Thursday evening of sushi flights and sake at Ashland on Peachtree Street in Midtown Atlanta.
Ashland is starting a new weekly tradition in Midtown: Sushi Flights + Sake Night, which kicks off Thursday, October 29. The premise is exactly what it sounds like—sushi flights paired with sake—and it's not just a one-off. Once it gets going, it runs every Thursday through the end of the year, so you've got plenty of chances to swing by if the first date doesn't work with your schedule.
For those who aren't familiar with the format, a sushi flight is a sampler platter rather than a single roll, which makes it a better way to try a few different things at once. Pair that with sake, and you've got a full spread to work through. Since it's a weekly thing, it's as much a happy hour as it is a dinner, and the timing fits that too: 4 PM to 6 PM, right when the workday is winding down. If you're in the Midtown area, it's an easy spot to drop into before the evening really gets moving.
