Haunted Seas After Hours is the Georgia Aquarium's adult take on its Halloween season, and it's running on Friday, October 30, from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. The whole thing is built around the aquarium's fall theme, Haunted Seas, which takes its cues from the mysterious creatures and shadowy depths of the ocean. During this after-hours session, you get to wander through the galleries and exhibits with a live DJ spinning, and there are signature cocktails and mocktails on hand while the exhibits stay on display. It's for ages 18 and over, and you've got to be 21 to drink.
It's worth keeping in mind that this is just one part of a much larger takeover. The broader Haunted Seas attraction runs daily from October 2 through November 1, and it's a full-scale seasonal shift for the aquarium. That includes themed dolphin and sea lion presentations, and on the weekends, there's strolling entertainment with musicians, acrobats, pirates, and mermaids. There's also a scavenger hunt and trick-or-treating through Ocean Voyager, Tropical Diver, and River Scout, so if you're going during the day, that's what you'll be running into.

For the after-hours night on the 30th, the logistics are straightforward: it's a cashless event, and parking is available in the covered garage for an additional fee. Last entry is 9:30 PM, so if you're coming late, you've still got an hour to see the galleries before the night wraps up at 10:30 PM. Tickets are $29.99 for members, $140.99 for overnight members, $49.99 for non-members in advance, and $155.99 for overnight non-members.
