Hands-on cooking class for over-21s to make classic Spanish tapas like gambas al ajillo, patatas bravas and pan con tomate.
Monday Night Brewing is hosting a Spanish tapas cooking class on Sunday, October 25, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. It's a hands-on session, so you're not just watching a chef do the work—you'll be at the station yourself, prepping the dishes as you go.
Over the two hours, you'll walk through three tapas staples. There's gambas al ajillo, the classic garlic shrimp that's a mainstay of any tapas bar; patatas bravas, those crispy potatoes served with a spicy sauce; and pan con tomate, the simple, toasted bread rubbed with fresh tomato and garlic. If you've only ever had these at a restaurant, this is a good way to see how they actually come together.
One of the best parts is that you don't have to bring a thing. All the equipment and ingredients are provided, so you can just show up and get to work without worrying about a shopping list or a bunch of gear. If you want something to drink while you cook, the venue bar is open and selling drinks throughout the class.
