Interactive comedic dinner theater murder mystery show where guests play detectives or suspects over a three-course meal.
Murder Mystery Co. is bringing its interactive dinner theater to Hudson Grille on Friday, October 16, and they've got a whole run of dates lined up through the fall and winter. If you've never done one of these, it's a bit like a live-action version of Clue: a three-course dinner served throughout the evening, with a murder mystery unfolding around you. Professional actors lead the investigation, and you're not just watching from the sidelines—you'll gather clues, question suspects, and might even be tapped to play a role yourself. There's plenty of comedy and audience participation mixed in, so it's as much about the people at your table as it is about the mystery.
One thing to keep in mind is the tone. The shows carry a PG-10 to PG-13 rating and are recommended for ages 13 and up, as they include adult humor and innuendo. There's also a monthly theme, and they hand out a Best Costume award, so if you're the type who likes to lean into the dress code, this is your chance. The company itself has been on ABC's Shark Tank and also does private events for corporate outings, team building, and weddings.
