Free weekly cardio dance fitness session mixing Zumba, Hip-Hop and Afrobeats rhythms, led by instructor Dawn Peck.
Moves on the Green is back at Midtown Green this Thursday, October 22, for another free fitness session. It's part of a series run by the Midtown Alliance, built around the idea of bringing people together through movement, fresh air and connection.
The October program is Cardio Dance, a high-energy session led by veteran instructor Dawn Peck. She mixes easy-to-follow choreography with Zumba, Hip-Hop, Afrobeats, Reggae, Reggaeton and other upbeat rhythms, so you'll be moving to a fair bit of variety in a single class. You don't need any dance experience to jump in—the choreography is designed to be easy to follow, so you can just focus on moving and not worry about getting every step exactly right.
Midtown Green is at 98 14th Street in Midtown Atlanta, right across from the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. If you're coming from elsewhere in the city, it's a central spot that's easy to find. The session starts at 5:30 PM, which works well if you're looking to shake off the workday before the evening really sets in.

Admission is free, though registration is required. This is one of five Thursday sessions running throughout October—the 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th—so if you can't make it this week, there are still a few more dates left in the series. The whole thing is free, but you'll need to register ahead of time to secure your spot.
