Family LEGO building session where children aged 6 and up create heroes, villains, vehicles and action scenes with parental supervision.
LEGO Lab: Heroes & Villains comes to the Peachtree Branch Library on Tuesday, Nov 3, from 4 PM to 5 PM. It's a family session where kids aged 6 and up build heroes, villains, vehicles, secret hideouts, and action-packed scenes out of LEGO bricks. The whole thing is part of the broader LEGO Lab program, and this particular session puts the spotlight on the classic clash between the good guys and the bad.
There's plenty of room to go in different directions here. Kids can invent their own original characters from scratch, recreate epic showdowns they've imagined, or work together with other families to build out a shared world. The format leans on imagination, storytelling, and hands-on design through play, so it's as much about the stories they make up as the things they actually build. If your kid spends half their day narrating a battle between two mismatched piles of bricks, this is right up their alley.
The program is presented by MODA and the Fulton County Library, and since it's a family-oriented session, caregivers have to stay with their children throughout the hour. It's a good way to spend a Tuesday afternoon if you're looking for something creative to do with the kids that gets them off screens and working with their hands.
