The venue is a literally underground club in Virginia-Highland, and it books figuratively underground punk, electro, and hip-hop acts. It's connected to MJQ Concourse, but it has its own separate entrance, so you don't have to go through the rest of the complex to get in. Earplugs are suggested, which is a fair heads-up for a basement room.
It's a spot with some local history: it was named Best Club in the 2009 Readers Pick and Best Place to Hear Local Music in the 2008 Critics Pick. The show is 21+.
