An all-day celebration of music, movement and creativity featuring yoga, house music DJs, a makers market and a plant workshop.
House on the Green: Downtown Dancin' takes over Founders Green on Saturday, October 17, from 10 AM to 6 PM. It's produced by AMADOR, Atlanta's wellness and placemaking agency, and they've framed the whole day as a celebration of music, movement, creativity and community in the heart of Downtown Atlanta.
The morning starts with Yoga on the Green from 10 to 11 AM, and from there the music takes over for the rest of the day. DJ Dell Harris holds down the house music from 11 AM to 2 PM, and Ron Pullman picks up the decks from 2 to 6 PM. Between the two, you've got seven hours of house music running open-air through the afternoon.
It's not just about the DJs, though. Running alongside the music is a Makers Market featuring local creatives, artisans and small businesses, plus a hands-on plant workshop. There are other community activations going on throughout the day, too. An onsite cash bar serves drinks from start to finish, so you can grab a drink and hang out between the yoga, the market and the dancing.
