Family-friendly, non-scary Halloween carnival and improv event with carnival games, a reverse haunted house and the improv show Wowie Zowie.
Dad's Garage is hosting its Halloween Spooktacular on Sunday, October 18, from 1 PM to 5 PM. It's a family-friendly, non-scary Halloween carnival and improv event run by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and it spreads across the patio, the lobby, and the main stage. It runs rain or shine, so you don't have to worry about the weather.
The day mixes an outdoor theater carnival of games and prizes with a reverse haunted house called Dr. Sharp's Home for Shy Monsters, where the kids get to surprise the monsters instead of the other way around. There's also a Halloween edition of Wowie Zowie, the family-friendly improv show aimed at ages 4 to 12. Tex's Tacos and King of Pops handle the food, and the lobby bar serves snacks and 21+ beverages.
