Georgia Tech women's basketball opens its 2026-27 non-conference slate with a home game against Hofstra at McCamish Pavilion.
Georgia Tech Women's Basketball opens its 2026-27 non-conference slate against the Hofstra Pride on Monday, Nov. 2, at McCamish Pavilion. It's the first of eight home games the Yellow Jackets will host at the pavilion this season, and it kicks off a non-conference schedule that doesn't take it easy on them: seven of their opponents made the 2025-26 postseason tournament, six of those made the NCAA Tournament, and five were 2026 conference champions or runners-up. That list includes matchups against Georgia, West Virginia, Georgia State, and West Georgia.
Head coach Karen Blair is entering her second year in Atlanta. Last season, the Jackets took ten games at home and earned a WBIT berth, with wins over No. 18 Notre Dame, Clemson, Stanford, and Miami. A good chunk of that core is back. Returning to The Flats are graduate Inés Noguero, 2026 All-ACC First Teamer Talayah Walker, seniors La'Nya Foster, Ariadna Termis, and Erica Moon, junior Déborah Mukeba, and sophomore Leyre Urdiain.
There are plenty of new faces to get to know, too. Joining the returning group are graduate Antonia Bates (G/F, Rutgers), junior Kyndal Walker (G, Maryland), sophomores Sofia Muñoz (G, UAB), Penda Dieng (F, Xavier), and Jordan Ode (G, Michigan State), plus freshman Autumn Washington. Between the returning veterans and the new arrivals, there's a fair amount of experience on the floor for the opener.
