Georgia Tech Men's Basketball opens its 2026-27 season at McCamish Pavilion on Tuesday, Nov. 3, when they take on Hampton. It's the first home game of the year, and it's also the first one in Atlanta for head coach Scott Cross, who was named the program's 16th head coach on March 20, 2026.
Tech has been in the Atlantic Coast Conference since 1979, and the program's history is something of a local landmark: four ACC championships in 1985, 1990, 1993, and 2021; 17 NCAA Tournament appearances; and two Final Fours in 1990 and 2004. The conference moved to an 18-game schedule last season, and this non-conference slate at McCamish Pavilion adds Georgia Southern, Eastern Kentucky, UNC Asheville, and Norfolk State, with a single true road game at Mississippi State.

Off the court, the program is running 'Full Steam Ahead,' a $500 million fundraising initiative to renovate athletic facilities, including the Zelnak Basketball Center and O'Keefe Gymnasium. Season tickets are on sale now, starting at $365. The game is at McCamish Pavilion, 965 Fowler St, Atlanta.
