Georgia Tech men's basketball game against Eastern Kentucky at McCamish Pavilion in midtown Atlanta.
Georgia Tech Men's Basketball takes on Eastern Kentucky at McCamish Pavilion on Tuesday, Nov. 10. It's one of the early home games of the 2026-27 non-conference slate, which kicks off on Nov. 3.
This is a new era for the program. Scott Cross is in his first year as head coach, named the team's 16th on March 20, 2026. He's stepping in with a heavily revamped roster: 13 new faces join the squad, with returning letterwinners Kam Craft and Cole Kirouac among the few familiar names. Between the new coach and the new players, the team on the court will look a lot different than it did last season.
For context on the program they're taking over, Georgia Tech has been in the Atlantic Coast Conference since 1979 and has won four ACC Championships—in 1985, 1990, 1993, and 2021. They've made the NCAA Tournament 17 times and reached two Final Fours, in 1990 and 2004. The Yellow Jackets play at McCamish Pavilion in midtown Atlanta, and the Zelnak Basketball Center serves as the program's practice and training facility. Backing the team is 'Full Steam Ahead,' a $500 million fundraising initiative intended to help the program compete for championships.
