Georgia Tech women's volleyball match against SMU, billed as a premier ACC contest, at McCamish Pavilion.
Georgia Tech women's volleyball takes on SMU this Sunday, October 25, at McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta. It's a conference match, part of the ACC schedule, so it carries more weight than a typical non-conference game. The match is set for 1 PM, and they're expecting it to wrap up around 3 PM.
If you've been around the campus for a while, you know the pavilion by its nickname: the Thrillerdome. It's where the volleyball team plays their home games, and the name fits the energy when the crowd gets behind them. This is one of those Sunday afternoon matchups that's easy to build a day around—catch the game, and you're still done by mid-afternoon.
On the court, it's Georgia Tech hosting SMU in a premier ACC contest. Since it's a conference game, the result counts toward the standings, which makes it a bit more than just a regular-season date. If you're into the ACC race, this is one to keep an eye on.
