Premier ACC match as Georgia Tech Volleyball takes on Pittsburgh at McCamish Pavilion.
Georgia Tech Volleyball takes on No. 4 Pittsburgh at McCamish Pavilion on Friday, October 23. It's a big ACC match, and Pittsburgh arrives as one of the top-ranked teams in the country.
Tech is coming off a 2025 season that set a program record: their sixth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. They finished 16-14 overall and 11-9 in the ACC, and they're bringing back six players for this run. Among them are Bianca Garibaldi, Heloise Soares, and Anna Fiedorowicz, all of whom earned postseason honors. The team is led by head coach Michelle Collier, now in her 13th season with a 234-131 record. She's closing in on the program record for most wins by a head coach, held by AVCA Hall of Famer Shelton Collier, who went 271-131 from 1991 to 2001. Collier already holds the program's record for most ACC and NCAA Tournament wins.
This match is part of a larger stretch at McCamish Pavilion. The program is doubling up on high-profile home games this year, pitting Tech against two top-15 opponents—Pittsburgh and SMU—both at McCamish. Beyond the court, the program is running the 'Full Steam Ahead' fundraising initiative, a $500 million effort to renovate O'Keefe Gymnasium and other athletic facilities.
