Georgia Tech men's basketball game against UNC Asheville at McCamish Pavilion in midtown Atlanta.
Georgia Tech Men's Basketball takes on UNC Asheville at McCamish Pavilion on Saturday, Nov. 14. It's part of the Jackets' non-conference slate, with the season tipping off on Nov. 3.
This is the first season under Scott Cross, who was named the program's 16th head coach on March 20, 2026. He's stepping in with a largely new squad: thirteen new faces on the roster, with returning letterwinners Kam Craft and Cole Kirouac among the few familiar names. It's a bit of a clean slate for the team as they start this new era.
McCamish Pavilion, located at 965 Fowler St in midtown Atlanta, has been the Yellow Jackets' home since 1979βthe same year the program joined the Atlantic Coast Conference. Over the decades, Georgia Tech has won four ACC Championships (1985, 1990, 1993, 2021), made 17 NCAA Tournament appearances, and reached two Final Fours (1990, 2004). The program is currently backed by 'Full Steam Ahead', a $500 million fundraising initiative to renovate its facilities, including the Zelnak Basketball Center and O'Keefe Gymnasium.
