Hardcore punk quintet Ceremony perform live at The Masquerade in Atlanta.
Ceremony play The Masquerade on Friday, October 16, their only Atlanta date this fall. They're a California hardcore punk quintet with a career that's run for more than two decades, and they've built a reputation as one of punk's most adaptable and unflinching outfits—always ready to meet the moment without surrendering their principles.
Fronting the band is vocalist Ross Farrar, and the lineup is rounded out by guitarist and keyboardist Anthony Anzaldo, guitarist Andy Nelson, bassist Justin Davis, and drummer Jake Casarotti. Their seventh album, Tell Me Your Dream, was produced by John Reis and draws on the anarcho-punk of Discharge and Crass—the groups the band cites as the political voices that first shaped them as teenagers. It's a record that looks back to those roots while sitting within their larger body of work.

Beyond their own releases, they've played at Anzaldo's Homesick music festival, headlining in 2019. This stop at The Masquerade is a standalone show, so you'll get the full band on their own. Doors open at 7 PM.
