Book launch and author talk with Allison Hill, moderated by Kelly Yamanouchi of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, followed by a book signing.
Allison Hill is launching her new book, Your Job Won't Love You Back: 12 Principles to Live in Alignment with Your Heart, at The Lola on Thursday, October 22. The evening runs from 6 PM to 8 PM, and it's set up as a conversation rather than a lecture: Hill will be joined by Kelly Yamanouchi of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Her+Story, who'll moderate the talk. A book signing follows the conversation, so you'll have a chance to get your copy signed before the night wraps.
The book comes from more than 30 years of Hill navigating corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, marriage, motherhood, and personal reinvention. The central argument is one a lot of us have felt: that career success on its own isn't enough to provide identity, purpose, and fulfillment. During the talk, she'll share insights from the book, including her "North Heart" framework—a way of reconnecting with your values and redefining what success looks like in different seasons of life.

With Yamanouchi moderating, the conversation opens up to careers, family, and how to make room for what actually matters. It's the kind of talk that hits home if you've ever wondered if there's more to your working life than just climbing the ladder. The whole thing is held at The Lola, 621 North Avenue NE #D-100, in Atlanta, and since space is limited, you'll need to RSVP via Eventbrite to save your spot.
