A beloved Atlanta tradition featuring a half marathon, 5K, mile and dash, with participants and spectators often dressed in Thanksgiving-themed costumes.
The Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon returns to Center Parc Stadium on Thursday, November 26, 2026. It's an Atlanta tradition that sells out year after year, run by the Atlanta Track Club—the same group that puts on the world's largest 10K. The half marathon is a single loop that winds through some of the city's most historic neighborhoods, including Inman Park, Old Fourth Ward, Grant Park, and Little Five Points, with the stadium serving as both the start and the finish.
It's a family affair, and the atmosphere is as much a part of it as the running. Participants and spectators show up dressed as Thanksgiving dishes or in turkey hats, and everyone who finishes walks away with a finisher's medal, a long-sleeved t-shirt, chip-timed results, and a post-race pie—plenty to bring bragging rights to the Thanksgiving table.
