Benefit evening hosted by Rayo de Sol with a dinner, silent auction and live music from the gospel rock band Church Friends to raise money for children in Nicaragua.
Rayo de Sol is hosting 2026 Night for Nicaragua at Monday Night Brewing - The Grove on Saturday, October 17, starting at 5 PM. It's a benefit for the nonprofit, which works with children and families in Nicaragua to break cycles of chronic poverty. This year's theme is "Little Hands, Big Impact: By the kids, for the kids," and the goal is to raise $150,000. There's a matching gift sponsor on board, so every dollar donated is matched up to $75,000.
The evening is built around a few different things happening at once: a dinner, a silent auction, and live music. The music comes from Church Friends, an Atlanta family band made up of siblings Anna Kate and Taylor and their close friend Kieana. They play gospel rock and appeared on Season 20 of America's Got Talent.
Between the dinner and the auction, the night is a fundraiser for Rayo de Sol, a faith-based nonprofit that works with families in Nicaragua. The matching gift means donations go twice as far up to $75,000, and the whole thing is aimed at hitting that $150,000 mark. It's a full evening rather than just a show, so you'll have the dinner and the auction to work through alongside the music.
