Free two-day celebration of Hip Hop culture with live performances, MC battles, B-Boying, youth programming, food and art in Historic Fourth Ward Park.
The ATL Hip Hop Day Festival returns to Historic Fourth Ward Park on Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6, 2026. It's the 17th annual edition, and it's part of ATL Hip Hop Week, so the whole weekend is built around the culture. The festival runs from 11 AM to 8 PM both days, and it's free to attend.
Over the two days, the park fills up with live performances, MC battles, B-Boying and B-Girling, and youth programming. There's also a fair of independent businesses, food, art, and community activities running alongside the stages. It's a broad look at the culture—the music, the dance, the business, and the people who keep it moving—rather than just a concert. The organizers describe it as a celebration of the artists, DJs, dancers, creators, entrepreneurs, and communities that keep the movement going forward.
This is the 17th time the festival has run, and it's always been about bringing together creators and fans from across the city. The organizers lean on Atlanta's own history here: the city helped change the sound, the business, and the culture of hip hop around the world, and that's the ground the festival stands on. It's a local tradition that's grown over nearly two decades, and it's meant to be as much for the people making the music as for the people listening to it.
