Halloween horror rock show by The TV Casualties with support from Vibrator, Tigerdrive and Slice at The Rusty Nail.
The TV Casualties are playing The Rusty Nail on Friday 30 October, their Halloween show for the season. They're the main act, with Vibrator, Tigerdrive and Slice supporting them throughout the night.
They're an unusual outfit from Edinburgh who claim to hail from Edinburgh and lands beyond, and they build their sets around tributes and anthems to all things horror. Their list of influences runs the length of a few different worlds: Alice Cooper, Ghost, System of a Down, Misfits, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, The Dead Kennedys and The Darkness. They describe their own style as punk-influenced alternative horror rock, and it's a fair summary of the ground they cover. The Moshville Times once put it as 'thrash metal meets punk meets sixteen cans of monster and a healthy dose of Ritalin'.
On stage, it's a three-piece: Nicolas Glassworth on bass and vocals, Tarsk Orin on guitar and vocals, and 3-D Scarlet on drums. Between them they handle the singing and the noise, and with the horror theme as their through-line, the set is built on the kind of music that fits a Halloween night better than most. It's a full bill, too, with Vibrator, Tigerdrive and Slice filling out the rest of the evening.

Doors open at 7:30pm, and the curfew is 11pm, so there's plenty of room for the support acts to get their sets in before the main feature takes over. It's a general admission standing show, and it's for over-18s only.
