Instore performance and signing by The Howlers to support their album Heavy at Assai Records.
The Howlers are playing Assai Records in Aberdeen on Sunday 18 October, starting at 5pm. It's an instore performance and signing, so it's a bit different from a standard gig — they'll be playing right there in the shop, and you can get your record signed afterwards.
The set is in support of their album Heavy, which is the record they're touring at the moment. Since it's an instore, the music stays close to the shelves, and the signing happens in the same room, so you're not just watching from a distance. If you've already got the album, it's a good chance to hear it played live; if you haven't, you can pick it up on the day and have it signed while you're there.
It's a Sunday afternoon slot, so it's an easy one to fit in without staying out late. The Howlers are the only act on the bill, so the whole thing centres on them and the new material. If you're into the record, this is as close as you'll get to the band — a live set in the middle of the shop, followed by the signing.
