Stand-up show by award-winning comedian and author Sophie McCartney about motherhood, millennial life and the gap between who she is and who she's supposed to be.
Sophie McCartney brings her new stand-up show, Queenage Dirtbag, to The Tivoli Theatre on Thursday 27 January 2028. It's her first time back on stage since her critically acclaimed One Foot in the Rave tour, and this one is built around a brand-new set.
Now in her 40s, McCartney has entered what she calls her 'Queenage' years, and that's where the material comes from. She works through motherhood, millennial misbehaviour, and the double standards that crop up along the way, and the gap that opens between the woman she's supposed to be and the one she actually is. It's the sort of thing that hits home if you've spent any time thinking about who you were meant to turn into and who you've actually become.
She's an award-winning comedian and a double Sunday Times No. 1 bestselling author, so she knows her way around a room and a punchline. The show is for ages 16 and over, and it's just her up front.
